TEMPORARY RELIEVING OFFICER- FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION – Pacific Islands Tax Administrators Association (Pitaa)

PITAA is seeking to recruit a dynamic, suitably qualified, and experienced Fiji resident to manage its operations, pursue coordination and implementation of the PITAA Heads Meeting and Executive Committee decisions, and facilitate capacity building needs for members during a short-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Period: 2-3 months
  • Work Schedule: 5 days per week from office
  • Data entry in MYOB
  • Prepare timely payment vouchers
  • Send subscription reminders to members
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Draft Executive papers
  • Update PITAA website, newsletter and social media pages
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as required

Requirements

  • At least a graduate (Finance/Communications/Marketing or similar)
  • Experience with MYOB accounting software and Canva
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • High level of integrity
  • Self-directed and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Strong written communication skills
  • PITAA’s working language is English.
