Key Responsibilities
- Monitor work in progress and keep Customers informed of changes to cost and or completion times at all times.
- Increase CPU (Customer Paid Unit) by maintaining preventative and required maintenance reporting is communicated and sold to the Customer at every opportunity available.
- Ensure aged stock (WIP) is kept below 60 days at all times.
- Understand customer’s needs and communicate these to the service workshop operation to improve ‘fix it right the first time’ activity.
- Promote good health and safety practices, follow and support the implementation of ANZEN (OHS & Safety) requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
- Control the core components of the Customer Appointment, Reception, Repair Order and Delivery standard operating procedures within the service department
- Maximize the sale of all available technician hours on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Trade Certificate in automotive engineering would be an added advantage
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications & Reynolds and Reynolds ERA
- Good Customer Service and communication skills
- Valid Group 2 driver’s license
- Minimum of 5 years practical Customer service experience
- Possess effective organizational and telephone skills
