We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead the ATH group’s Investment. The role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for maximizing shareholder value through strategic portfolio management, innovative investment approaches, and disciplined risk oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing the ATH Group’s investment portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment with our long-term corporate & financial objectives, including asset allocation and portfolio diversification.
- Provide strategic advice to the Board on mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising.
- Formulating and executing the company’s investment strategy to ensure consistency with the overall objectives and defined risk tolerance.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging market/ investment opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and financial regulations.
- Mentoring and developing a team of investment professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field with the preferred professional certifications in one of the following – CAIA or CFA.
- At least a minimum of 10 years proven record of successful investment management which includes merger & acquisition analysis, managing diverse asset classes, such as stocks, bonds, properties and infrastructure and alternative investments portfolio.
- Demonstrated expertise in telecommunication investment portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment risk management, and performance analysis.
- Commercially driven with a focus on value creation.
- Integrity and commitment to transparency.
- Innovative thinker with global market awareness.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management/engagement skills across the government, local and international stakeholders.
