Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the plant is safe and compliant according to all local safety and factory legislations.
- Deliver training and safety awareness programs.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Foster a culture of safety to all employees and visitors to the plant.
- Conduct risk assessments and workplace inspections.
- Maintain records and prepare safety reports for management.
Requirements
- OHS qualification from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing workplace health, safety and compliance policies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practises.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated experience in training and coaching people at all levels.
- Must have 3 years work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a food processing factory is an advantage.
