This position will be based at the Crest Processing Plant in Colo-I-Suva, reporting to the Finance Manager – Crest.

The nature of the role includes:

• Planning and coordinating daily administrative transactions and providing support to the Crest Processing Plant Manager.
• Ensuring efficient, accurate and effective inventory management via stock takes and inventory reconciliation.
• Analyzing monthly cost center profit and loss against budget reviews with the Crest Processing Manager
• Maintaining accurate internal control audit trail requirements and driving stakeholder accountability.
• Increasing visibility of the Crest Operations throughout the business through regular and accurate reports on performance and key areas of opportunity.
• Coordinating purchasing activities for the Crest Processing Plant.
• Vetting and reporting daily production numbers and KPIs in the Crest Processing Plant.
• Identifying and implementing continuous process improvements.
• Developing and maintaining professional relationships with both external and internal customers.
• Ensuring full compliance with all relevant company policy, collective agreements, employment agreements and other legislative requirements.

Key skills and attributes required:

• Advanced diploma in Accounting, Business Studies or working towards a bachelors degree.
• 1-year experience in similar role or 3 years minimum experience in finance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership skills
• Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient user of MS Office.
• Knowledge of Syspro will be an added advantage.
