JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

The Company

We are now looking for Travel Consultant to coordinate with the travel consulting team in Australia for client domestic offline and online fulfillment. Must have travel industry and Global distribution system (GDS) experience. Booking domestic offline requests, presented by the client via email in accordance with the traveller policies and TMC processes and quality control checks, and Service Level Agreements, through the Global distribution system (GDS). The roles are available in Nadi and Suva.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities

  • A strong customer service focus and a genuine interest in helping people, for this role, you must be proficient in reading and writing in English;
  • You will enjoy working through problems and providing solutions in a complex environment;
  • You will be an adaptable individual that adjusts well to changing work environments while identifying opportunities to up-sell or cross-sell products & services;
  • Quoting and booking: air tickets, hotels including hotel chargebacks, car Hire including car hire chargebacks, transfers, ancillary segment bookings i.e., extra baggage / Seating and meal requests, special requests and visa advice / Covid-19 protocols – Sherpa;
  • VIP quality checks;
  • PNR quality control;
  • Client invoicing;
  • Booking amendments including reissue of airline tickets;
  • GDS queue management;
  • Profile management; and
  • Level 1 client support – Password reset / Zeno workflow advice.

About You:

Essential Skills & Experiences

  • At least 2 years of experience and knowledge in using a GDS (Amadeus or Gal)
  • Great attention to detail
  • Experience in a Travel Management Company (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of the travel industry
  • Ticketing knowledge of multi airlines
  • Experience with corporate clients
  • Understanding of an online booking tool – Serko/Zeno
  • Understanding of a mid-office system – Tramada
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
