Morris Hedstrom (MH) is Fiji’s largest wholesale and retail organization with a chain of Supermarkets and Homemaker (variety) Stores. We are seeking to recruit result oriented, enthusiastic and creative individuals for the Store Manager to be based in Maxval-U Rakiraki and Nadi. Responsibilities:

Develop business strategies to raise our customer pool expand store traffic and optimize profitability.
Responsible for the daily review of sales and margins report with budgets and take action to address shortfalls.
Ensure strategic goals and sales targets of the store is met by maximizing sales and gross profit, review sales performance, controlling expenses, and managing inventory.
Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of all store operations including the timely submission of all personnel paperwork, prepare and submit reports, and monitor sales receipts and cash.
Monitor stock and inventory. Perform quality assurance of merchandise on a regular basis.
Ensure high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits and conduct personnel performance appraisal to assess training needs and build career paths
Ensure compliance to standard operations procedures.
Ensure company property is secured, maintained and OHS policies are observed.

 

Requirements:

Must have at least three years of retail management experience.
Understand business strategy, team development and expanding customer relations
Must be a self starter with excellent leadership and communication skills (both written and oral)
