The Role

Pepper Advantage Hub (Fiji) is seeking a Database Analyst and Administrator. The role is to operate and manage the database to produce reports and data necessary for the operation of the business. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide comprehensive database related support to our client.

 

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will need to be capable of maintaining database integrity and accuracy.
Have familiarity in backup procedures and implementation of new versions of database
software. Familiarity with Access database is preferred but not essential.
Require strong skills in excel to manage formula based data manipulation of data extracted
from the database.
Skills in word mail merge and with an ability to work with word templates to meet the in-house teams on-going requirements such as legal instruction letters.
The role requires deadlines to be met every month for reporting purposes and then on demand
support as deals are granted formal approval and added to the database.
The individual will be required to assist identify errors and provide instruction to the database programmer on both modifications and new features.
Calculate value of shared equity investment based upon set methodology currently through a combination of database calculations and excel spreadsheets.

 

Skills and experience required:

Bachelor’s degree/Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking, or a related field.
Strong mathematical ability and advanced excel skills.
Familiarity with database systems and use of the systems.
Ability to work with indices and Corelogic desktop valuation software.
Property market awareness and interest essential.
Disciplined approach to database maintenance, backups and data integrity.
Good communication skills required with team.
Accurate, responsive, adaptive and problem solving.
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
