What is the job?

Are you passionate about curating exceptional experiences, mastering the art of mixology, and elevating the world of whiskey? We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled Whiskey Bar and Lounge Supervisor to supervise our team and bring the spirit of sophistication to our establishment.

A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

Showcasing your expertise in whiskey and mixology, overseeing the creation of signature cocktails and maintaining an exceptional standard of beverage quality.
Cultivating and nurture a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guests feel at home while enjoying the finest spirits and cocktails.
Maintaining a well-stocked and diverse selection of whiskeys, spirits, and bar supplies, optimizing inventory turnover and minimizing wastage.
Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, providing training to colleagues on product knowledge, service standards, and mixology.
Planning and executing special events, whiskey tastings, and promotions to enhance the overall guest experience and drive business.

 

What we need from you:

At least 2 year’s experience supervising a Whisky Bar and be experienced and confident in making hand crafted cocktails – classic and contemporary.
Level 1 or 2 Award in Wines and Spirits.
An outgoing and pleasant personality, with a proactive approach.
Efficient, flexible, able to work under pressure to ensure impeccable and seamless service.
Strong organizational skills.
Experience and ability to lead and motivate a small team.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and organize workload independently when required.
Team player.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Event management experience – tastings, masterclasses.
