MACHINE OPERATOR – Alfa Pte Limited CJ Patel Suva

JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Alfa Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group that manufactures hygiene and consumer products for Fiji and international markets such as Pacific Laundry Bar, Malumu tissues, and Stelow and also holds the manufacturing license for world-renowned international brand Janola. We are looking for suitable candidates for the following positions to be based in our factory in Lami.

MACHINE OPERATOR

Job Responsibilities:

Perform routine machine maintenance checks while operating mechanical or computer operated equipment’s
Start-up of production cycle and product changeovers in an efficient manner with zero compromise on quality and safety
Ensure machine are properly cleaned as per manual
Ensure CCP (Critical Control Points) are well maintained, and checks done at required frequency to avoid quality issues

 

Key Requirements:

Relevant qualifications with at least 1-2 years’ work experience
Good understanding and knowledge of production procedures
Possess analytical skills and ability to read schematics and manuals
Physically fit and maintain great health
Flexible in approach to working hours including shift work
