Role Overview

Fiji Sun is looking for a revenue-focused and results-driven professional to lead its digital marketing and advertising efforts. This is a hands-on role focused on growing digital revenue, improving online visibility, and using data to better connect with both readers and advertisers.

The selected candidate will work closely with both the editorial and advertising teams — not just to support but to actively drive Fiji Sun’s digital strategy forward. This role combines sales, analytics, content promotion, and marketing, offering strong learning opportunities for anyone looking to build expertise in digital media and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Advertising & Sales

· Sell digital ad space across platforms (website, social media, branded content, newsletters).
· Build tailored proposals based on client needs and performance data.
· Support the print sales team by integrating digital options into campaigns.
· Meet monthly digital revenue targets and explore new growth areas.
· Create creative ad packages for seasonal campaigns, events, and features.
· Maintain strong relationships with advertisers and digital agencies.

Audience Insights & Digital Strategy

· Track and report website traffic, user behavior, and campaign results.
· Knowledge of basic tools like Google Analytics to guide sales and content decisions will be an advantage.
· Identify content trends, platform performance, and digital growth opportunities.
· Share audience insights regularly with both editorial and commercial teams.

Marketing & Campaign Execution

· Lead initiatives to grow newsletter sign-ups, memberships, and engagement through email and social media campaigns

What We’re Looking For

· A good understanding of digital ad formats, campaign goals, and audience behavior.
· Basic experience with tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Insights is an advantage.
· A self-starter who can take ownership and meet both revenue and engagement goals.
