This role reports to the General Manager and is responsible for providing management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial expertise in the development and analysis of key financial information for management decision making. The successful candidate will take ownership and accountability for the preparation of management accounts, reports, budgets, commentaries, and other internal analysis within agreed timelines. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Monthly and Quarterly Management reporting to Management.
- Support the General Manager with planning on budgeting and forecasting.
- Perform financial analysis and business cases
- Preparation of Board Packs for board meetings.
- Preparation of statutory audit requirements.
- Actively participate n Cross Functional team meetings on key projects and initiatives.
Requirements (Qualification, Experience and Key Competencies)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Financial Management or equivalent.
- Be analytical and detail-oriented with good financial skills and an expert understanding of current accounting standards.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and stick to time constraints.
- Additional qualifications such as CPA, CA or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of business principles and finance in order to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and summarize complex information.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with spreadsheet and accounting software programs.
