Goodman Fielder is seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals to join the dynamic Finance team in the capacity of Management Accountant in a Business Partnering role. This is a unique opportunity to take a strategic position within a rapidly evolving Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment, contributing to the profitability, sustainability, and growth of the business through innovative financial leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Drive category profitability by analysing sales data, addressing underperforming segments, and partnering with marketing to implement revenue-boosting strategies.
· Monitor production and supply chain costs, identify variances, and recommend cost-optimisation measures to enhance operational efficiency.
· Assess financial risks, forecast vulnerabilities, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies that safeguard the business.
· Provide insightful, data-driven reports to enable strategic decision-making and influence planning across business units.
· Develop robust budgeting and forecasting models, aligning targets with market trends and corporate objectives.
· Coach and mentor team members to foster continuous learning and shape a high-performance culture.
· Build strong cross-functional relationships, driving alignment with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications and experience:

· A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
· At least 8 years of experience, preferably within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, with a proven track record in management accounting, costing, and variance analysis.
· Expertise with large accounting systems, preferably SAP.
· Strong analytical and communication skills to deliver actionable insights and foster stakeholder engagement.
· A collaborative and results-driven mindset, coupled with a commitment to driving high performance and organisational success.
