Radiographer (Echocardiographer)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiographer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, CT scans, and other modalities as required, while adhering to strict safety protocols.
* Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any issues.
* Accurately position patients for examinations, providing clear and compassionate instructions to ensure comfort and image quality.
* Assess images for diagnostic quality and completeness, making sure all necessary anatomical details are captured.
* Maintain precise patient records and documentation, including examination details and patient history.
* Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and accurate diagnoses.
* Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards, radiation protection regulations, and professional codes of conduct.
* Participate in continuing professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in radiography technology and techniques.

Requirements and Experience:

* Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Radiography or Medical Imaging.
* Registration: Current and valid professional registration with the relevant licensing body.
* Experience: Proven experience as a radiographer, with a strong understanding of various imaging modalities.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in operating a variety of imaging equipment and familiar with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients in a clear and reassuring manner.
* Interpersonal Skills: A compassionate and patient-focused approach with a strong ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of image quality and patient safety.
