General Manager Finance, Administration and Business Transformation
Our client, Housing Authority of Fiji (HAF) was established by an Act of Parliament in 1955, The Housing Authority became an operating entity in 1958. The Authority began operation with the development of rental flats and progressed into the development of lots and the designing and building of homes.

Join NowIn 1996, Housing Authority was declared a Commercial Statutory Authority and with the initial vision to provide affordable housing for low-income earners in urban centers who could otherwise be unable to secure a permanent residence for themselves, the Authority has in recent years expanded its services to include mortgage financing for middle to high-income earners.
Housing Authority of Fiji is seeking a qualified and experienced individual for the role of General Manager Finance, Administration and Business Transformation to be based in Suva, Fiji.
The General Manager Finance and Administration & Business Transformation will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the organisation. This encompasses supervising all aspects of Finance, Administration and Business Transformation. The position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Summary of Key Accountabilities
• Reviewing existing policies and procedures relating to the Finance and Administration areas and making changes where needed;
• Ensuring that personnel in the Finance and Administration division comply with HAF policies and procedures
• Assisting the Chief Executive in corporate planning and related activities;
• Preparing and submitting the Annual Corporate budget for the Chief Executive and Board’s approval;
• Monitoring the performance of the Finance and Administration Division on a regular basis.
• Providing senior management and the Board with accurate monthly/annual financial and operating statements to allow a review of the Authority’s financial status;
• Budgeting and forecasting;
• Provide strategic leadership to the Business Transformation team.
• Leading Business Transformation, Digitalisation and Automation of processes throughout the organisation
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree qualifications in Finance/Accounting or a related discipline. Substantial experience in a senior management accounting/finance role.
• Experience in a leading financial institution(s) is advantageous
• Sound strategic thinking skills with a strong commitment to the ongoing improvement of HAF.
• Membership of a widely recognised and relevant professional body is desirable.
• Good understanding of HAF’s strategies, policies, procedures and operational guides
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills

Remuneration
An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate commensurate with qualifications and experience.
