COMPANY DRIVER – Mantaray Island Resort

Are you an experienced and responsible driver looking for a new opportunity!!! 

We are currently seeking a skilled Company Driver to join our team at Mantaray Island Resort. This role will be based at Denarau in our Mainland Office. As a Company Driver with us, you’ll play a crucial role in our operations and ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods. Also portraying a highly disciplined and motivated personality, which would positively contribute towards the growth of the company. 

Required skills and pre- qualifications for the jobs are as follows: 

1. Previous experience in a similar role.
2. MUST have a clean and valid Group 2 driving license.  
3. Sound knowledge of road safety regulations. 
4. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 
5. Great communication skills
6. Knowledge in general logistics for Resort including Food & Beverage and building materials. 
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. Physically fit and healthy. 
9. Honest, reliable and flexible with a “Can Do” Attitude.

Roles and Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate company vehicles as instructed. 
• Handling of petty cash and receipts. 
• Transport goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Pickup of supplies or goods from various companies.  
• Coordinate, and load Barge and boats. 
• Frequent communication with the Purchasing officer
• Provide general handyman duties.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and pickups. Report any issues or delays. 
• Responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate records, and coordinating with various departments to maintain efficient operations. 
• Abiding by transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record. 
• Maintain the vehicle in good working condition and perform routine inspection. 
• Provide excellent customer service and represent our company in a professional manner.
