Clay Energy is a leading provider of Renewable Energy power systems in Fiji and the Pacific and a member of the Sunergise group. Clay Energy is inviting applications for the following position to be based in our office in Suva:

Engineering Manager

The Engineering Manager is responsible for managing a multi-skilled team of design engineers, and draftspersons providing engineering design and drafting services and technical O&M support.

This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Preferred experience and qualifications include:-

Engineering Degree in electrical and/or electronics engineering.
Engineering experience in delivering design and documentation for project construction.
Management experience in coordinating multiple engineers and draughtspersons to deliver project design and documentation.
Demonstrated experience at planning, developing and coordinating multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
Understanding of processes and systems associated with EPC projects from site development, project initiation through to operations and handover.
Extensive knowledge in electrical design and the design cycle.
Extensive knowledge of electrical design and installation standards.
Excellent understanding of QHSE processes and procedures involved during project design, construction and commissioning.
Knowledge in the use of PV modeling software including PVSyst, Homer and Helios 3D would be an advantage.
Knowledge of renewable energy power system design process and renewable energy technologies and equipment including solar modules, inverters, battery and racking technologies would be an advantage.
