Oceania Gas is a premium Company in Fiji and specializes in Gases, Welding and Cutting, Welding Consumables and Gas Equipment’s.  Oceania Gas seeks dynamic and extremely results-oriented, self-driven individuals to join the team. 

VACANCY: Driver – Head Office (Lami)

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the incumbent, will be responsible for getting the deliveries for gases.

Key Responsibilities: 

•     Ensure gases delivery are done in time within the allocated timeframe.
•     Avoiding any accidents which could lead to serious injuries while driving the truck or any vehicle.
•     Establish and maintain and outstanding relationship with the stakeholders and customers.
•     Ensure all deliveries are scanned in the system and return cylinders are scanned out using our tracking software.
•     Review and verify invoices and purchase request for accuracy.
•     Inspect delivery vehicle and ensure the safety with security of the loading and unloading process.
•     Contact customers to confirm the delivery for addresses or details needed.
•     Maintain daily logs and records.
•     Ensure vehicle is given regular day-to-day maintenance checks, such as oil, water, battery, tyers for safety checkups.

The ideal candidates must possess the following attributes –

•               Strong attention to details and accuracy in handling inventory and others.
•               Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•               Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
•               Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and route. Highly responsible & reliable.
•               Must have a clean police clearance record.
•               Must have clean Group 2,6 & DG driving license.
