STOCK CONTROLLER – Paradise Cove Resort

Goolma Ltd operates Paradise Cove Resort, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort & Octopus Resort and is based in the Yasawa Islands. Our resorts have talented teams and we are looking to enhance this with other like minded individuals who share a passion for tourism and guest satisfaction.

We are looking for suitably qualified applicants for the following role to join our Island team.

Stock Controller – Island Based

Required skills and knowledge:

Key Responsibilities:

•       Reconcile daily sale transaction and follow up in timely manner
•       Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording of accounts receivables data
•       Reconcile the accounts to ensure that all payments are accounted/posted
•      Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice.
•      Liase with mainland office on queries.
•      Maintain accurate historical records.
•      Maintain confidentiality of organization information.
•      Other administration duties

Key Attributes: 

•       Minimum qualification required – Diploma in Accounting or equivalent;
•       Prior work experience and knowledge of accounts receivables will be an added advantage;
•       Computer knowledge is essential.
•        Must be well versed with Xero Accounting Software/MS Word/ Excel/Seekom.
•        Proven organizational skills and strong attention to detail;
•        Ability to work under pressure
•        Manage job priorities and deadline.
•        Must be a team player 
•        Able to adapt to island living
•       This is an on-site live-in role with shared accommodation.
