Aspen Medical is seeking enthusiastic candidates for the role of Telephone Operator. The successful candidate will ensure all telephone communications both internally and externally are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
Key Outcomes
Customer and employee enquiries are handled professionally
All agreed activities and functions are delivered and achieved within agreed timeframes and compliant with relevant processes and policies
Timely and accurate advice to staffs and effective customer services are provided to ensure consistent approach to operational activities.
The roles and responsibilities of this position include:
Communicate telephone message both internal and external for the hospital and monitor calls accordingly
Page for staff during emergencies
Report telecommunication faults and complaints to relevant authorities
Service delivery to be effective and efficient
Reports to be completed in a timely manner
Update activities, changes and completion of other tasks as assigned
Participate in all corporate functions as and when required
Experience and Qualifications Required
Successful Completion of Form 6 level
At least one year’s experience in similar role
Working knowledge and experience in telephone etiquette
Experience in handling customer complaints
Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety at workplace
Ability to plan and organize work in a timely manner
Excellent communication skills
A good team player
Customer focused approach with commitment to supporting the operational goals of the organization
Desired
Knowledge of the Health Services Industry.
