Key Responsibilities
- Duties span day-to-day bookkeeping, monthly financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, statutory compliance, Reserve Bank of Fiji returns and queries, Audit, vendor and customer records, and liaising with Auditors, Regulators, Customers and Suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Commerce;
- A Chartered Accountant with FICA or CPA.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant accounting experience, ideally in general insurance, financial services or a regulated industry, with exposure to statutory/regulatory reporting.
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills & solid grasp of internal controls and audit processes.
- Attributes: Integrity, attention to detail, organisation, ability to meet deadlines, and strong communication/teamwork skills.
