JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
The Fiji Teachers Union Cooperative Thrift & Credit Ltd, one of the largest and fastest growing credit cooperatives is seeking to immediately employ an enthusiastic and committed graduate to manage the accounting functions of the Credit Union and its Subsidiary Investment companies.
Reporting to CEO and Manager Finance & Admin the important role includes:
Preparation of financial & operational management of the Credit Union and its subsidiaries
Management of Accounts Payable and Receivables
Month-end processing includes P&L preparations, Data analysis and
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Preparation and management of various financial planning and analysis activities of the company such as Annual Accounts,
Budget Forecasting, Variance Analysis, and Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting.
Management of company properties, asset registers and payroll functions.
Maintenance and implementation, of internal control system of the company and its subsidiaries
Sales and Marketing of the Executive apartments owned by the company
Attend and respond to Auditors in Audit procedures.
Qualification and Experience
Professional Qualification and or Bachelors Degree in Accounting/IT
Minimum of 3 years prior experience
Should be an excellent team player and well organized
Ability to meet deadlines
Undertake lang term commitment as specialized training will be provided
Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and MYOB software
Fluency in English and excellent interpretation skills
Excellent analytical skills and up-to-date knowledge in accounting standards
