DRSCRIPTION
The Fiji Sun, Fiji’s biggest News Publisher, has an opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and energetic accounts person as Accounts Receivable Officer in the Finance Department. This role is based at Gorrie Street, Suva. The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for carrying out the day to day reports for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibility of the Officer is outlined below:
- Following up on advertising debtors
- Meet collection targets and clear outstanding debtors
- Resolve disputed clients
- Send invoices and statements to customers on a timely basis
- Debtors report compiled and submitted to supervisors on time.

Knowledge & Skills
The skills required for this position are:
- Degree in Accounting or related discipline from a reputable institution.
- Candidate must have the ability to work independently, have a high degree of confidence, good communication and leadership skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have a valid driving licence
