Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

As an Analyst, Research & Analysis, you will support the efficient and effective end-to-end credit risk analysis function, which includes transaction structuring, risk analysis, credit approval, review and monitoring processes around an identified portfolio of customers.

The key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Build collaborative relationships with Product Partners, Relationship Management, Client Services and Credit Executive to ensure understanding of business needs and product solutions are exchanged, engaging them to support delivery of customer solutions
Ensure that your customer portfolio meets all of the requirements to ensure the well managed agenda is maintained
Assist in ensuring new transactions are structured and completed within acceptable risk parameters
Identify, monitor and make appropriate recommendations in respect of challenging credits in line with the Bank’s risk profile and appetite
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following –
Proven experience in banking and customer management
Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Commerce, Business, Accounting or Economics
Good understanding of risk arising from credit risk, operational risk, and market risk across customer, product and country
Ability to identify key business drivers and mitigate key risks and make recommendations where appropriate
Well-developed conceptual thinking capabilities
Sound credit skills with the ability to present a well-motivated risk assessment and business proposition
Highly motivated, self-directed, and a team player
