Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash records.
  • Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
  • Reconcile supplier and customer statements.
  • Assist with payroll processing and statutory compliance.
  • Support inventory reconciliations and stock adjustments.
  • Maintain fixed asset and financial records.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure accurate filing and safekeeping of accounting records.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP experience is an advantage).
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Honest, reliable, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Experience in inventory-based businesses or retail operations.
  • Knowledge of tax compliance and reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP Business One or similar platforms.

Salary

Salary Range: FJD 23,000 – FJD 26,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience).
