Shreedhar Motors, a highly recognized leader in Motor Industry is seeking to recruit suitably qualified, well experienced, highly motivated and performance-oriented personnel for the following vacant positions based at our Head Office in Vatuwagqa.

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT/ INTERNAL AUDITOR

Role:

  • Supervising audit staff during audits and manage consulting engagements that evaluate corporate management and operating practices.
  • Audit planning, field work, and audit reporting, prepare reports, and communicate findings and recommendations to line and senior management
  • Reviewing audit work papers prepared by the audit staff to ensure sound audit theory and compliance with the department’s evaluation
  • Ensuring that processes exist which will generate accurate company records as they pertain to assets, liabilities, receipts, expenditure and related transactions
  • Reconciliation of General Ledger and preparation of Management accounts
  • Liaise with external auditor
  • Travelling to our local branches to carry out audits of the operations ensuring compliance with Group policies, procedures and regulatory  requirements
  • Process Local & Overseas payments in compliance with statutory requirements
  • Handle matters pertaining to supplier queries both local and overseas
  • Issue Tax Invoices and process receipting as and when required
  • Month end wages clearing and other reconciliation
  • Timely processing of all month end journal entries for Head Office
  • Provide accounting support services to the Supervisors in the overall accounting function
  • Ensure the protection of the Company’s assets at all times and that financial and business matters at all times are dealt with in a transparent and professional manner
  •  Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with standard operating procedures and legislative requirements

Job Requirements: –

  •  Must have a Degree in Accounting or an equivalent tertiary qualification
  • Good commercial acumen with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with computers and strong service orientation
  • A team player with outstanding communication, interpersonal skills and excellent leadership skills

Must be able to work with minimum supervision and handle the demands of the job well
