Key Duties:

• Carry out installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in vehicles
• Diagnose, repair and replacement of electronics and electrical components
• Identify and repair faults on electronically controlled vehicle systems
• Able to install electronic components
• Assist Apprentices and Attachment Trainees when required
• Carry out vehicle wiring as per safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Maintain an open mindset of networking that brings business opportunities to the company
• Test machines for any additional repairs needed
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers and co-workers
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

Requirements:

• Trade certificate in Auto-Electrical engineering
• Should have at least 3 or more years of experience in the Automotive engineering industry
• Knowledge of EFI engine will be an advantage
• Apprenticeship qualification would be an advantage
• Be computer literate to enable electrical diagnostic when required
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Highly motivated, reliable, honest and punctual
• Must have a valid driving license
