AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRICIAN – Carpenters Fiji PTE Limited

Carpenters Motors, a division of Carpenters Fiji Pte Limited and recognized leader in the motoring industry in Fiji, is seeking applications for interested candidates for the role of Automotive Electrician to be based Carpenters Motors – LMR Workshop in Walubay, Suva. if you believe you are ready to join our dynamic team we want to hear from you!

Key Duties:

Carry out installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in vehicles
Diagnose, repair and replacement of electronics and electrical components
Identify and repair faults on electronically controlled vehicle systems
Able to install electronic components
Assist Apprentices and Attachment Trainees when required
Carry out vehicle wiring as per safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Maintain an open mindset of networking that brings business opportunities to the company
Test machines for any additional repairs needed
Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers and co-workers
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
Able to complete job required within the designated time frames set by Management
Consistent in daily attendance at work
No “Rework” repairs due to below standard work
Meet and adhere to company attendance policy and procedures
Follow management directions at all times
Report any company Breaches and Concerns to your Service Manager first for action

Skills and Requirements:

Trade certificate in Auto-Electrical engineering
Should have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in the Automotive engineering industry
Knowledge of EFI engine will be an advantage
Be computer literate to enable electrical diagnostic when required
Able to work with minimum supervision
Highly motivated, reliable, honest and punctual
Must have a valid driving license
