Key Responsibilities
- Command PBF’s research and community-service vessels (7–18 m) throughout Beqa Lagoon and wider Fijian waters.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible maritime operations.
- Mentor crew and engage with guests on board.
- Advance PBF’s conservation and sustainable economic development mission.
- Conduct regular voyages to Beqa, Yanuca, and offshore sites.
- Chart courses for healthier reefs and empowered communities.
Requirements
- Ability to command 7–18 m research and community-service vessels.
- Extensive knowledge of Beqa Lagoon and wider Fijian waters.
- Commitment to environmentally responsible operations.
- Skills in mentoring crew and engaging with guests.
