This is a full-time position based at our Suva Branch reporting to the Head of Retail Banking.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for Branch operation and management including Tellers, Enquiries, New Accounts and Personal Banking services.
Establishment and execution of BRED Bank Strategies and commitment towards superior customer service.
Continuously improve customer service relationships and assist in customer retention and drive sales growth.
Ensuring compliance in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures and effective management of operational risks to ensure the maximization of business opportunities within the scope of the Bank’s risk tolerance level.
Drive revenue generation by bringing operational efficiency and effectiveness in order to achieve targets in loans, deposits, foreign exchange and E-Channels Products & Services.
Continuously managing and engaging staff in professional development to support their performance.
Key Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years of Banking experience in Branch services and support operations along with substantial sales and marketing experience. (Preferably 2 years of experience in Branch Manager’s role).
Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Banking/ Commerce or Finance.
Sound understanding of Fiji’s Financial Service market and knowledge of Retail banking products and local regulations.
High performer with proven success in the market with pre-existing good record, presence and market profile in Fiji.
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated capability in relationship building and branch management.
Has a pleasant personality, outstanding presentation and good written and verbal communication.
