Business Accounts Manager – West

 

 

We are looking for a Business Accounts Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

 

· Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
· Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
· Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
· Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
· Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
· Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
· Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
· Prepare reports on account status.
· Identify and grow opportunities within territory.
· Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

 

 

Requirements (Education, Experience and Key Competencies)

 

 

· Have a Degree in Business/Management/ Marketing/OET or similar discipline.
· Have experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development or related field.
· Have a pleasant personality and good sense of humor.
· Be technology and business savvy and have a passion for results.
· Have effective presentation and public relations skills.
· Possess a clean and valid driver’s license (group 2).
· Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyse market data, develop strategic direction and create compelling business cases.
· Ability to work independently with supervision and collaboratively. This is a highly collaborative role requiring solid leadership, communication and product development skills.
· Strong communication and relationship management skills and the ability to negotiate and facilitate successful outcomes at a high level.
