Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), including accurate depreciation calculations and periodic reconciliations of the General Ledger.
- Administer and monitor Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) processes, including tracking approvals, sanctions, and budget utilization.
- Review and verify CAPEX-related payment vouchers to ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Conduct periodic fixed asset stock takes and asset verification exercises.
- Perform Work-in-Progress (WIP) reconciliations and prepare related management reports.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist with audit queries and provide supporting documentation as required.
Requirements
- A Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Minimum three years’ relevant experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
