Job Description
Base tasks
Supporting the Head Chef with overall management and communications.
Preparing & cooking healthy nutritious meals.
Daily ordering & stock management. Monitoring produce levels & stock rotation. Achievable financial targets will be in place.
Support the Head Chef in the development of café and function menus.
Lead kitchen shifts in Head chef’s absence. This will include some staff management & 3-4 week annual leave cover for the Head Chef per year.
Other
Maintain housekeeping/cleaning routines covering kitchen, coolers and fridges, ovens, dry store and rubbish areas to maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation and lower maintenance costs.
Undertakes other admin duties as required by the Head Chef.
