Key Responsibilities
- Setting long term operational plans, five-year strategic directions and corporate visions across the transport sector.
- Developing strategies to deliver government and land transport policies, secure appropriate programmes, budgets and resources, and ensure services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Establishing and reporting on corporate performance frameworks, financial targets, management systems, organisational structures and workforce capability.
- Building a commercial, accountable and customer-focused culture, leading staff and stakeholders through social, political, technological and organisational change.
- Developing and implementing enforcement, registration, licensing and traffic management strategies consistent with road safety, road infrastructure protection and the needs of road users.
- Regulating and coordinating land transport services and facilities, promoting adequate passenger and goods transport services, and supporting improved economic cooperation across the sector.
- Maintaining productive relationships with the Board, Chairman, Ministry of Transport, Police, government agencies, customers, suppliers and national and international transport sector partners.
- Providing strategic, policy and operational advice and submitting statutory, business performance and change programme reports to the Board, Ministry and relevant authorities.
- Monitoring economic, industry and technology trends, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation, improving service delivery processes and promoting community awareness and environmentally responsible practices.

- Master’s degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in either Business Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, Economics, Law, Public Administration, Transport from a recognised university.
- Ten years of Senior Executive experience.
