The incumbent will perform duties pertaining to transport, clerical and protocol support services for the Division Pacific Technical Support (DPS) Office. He/she will be required to follow the rules and available references such as the Regional Office for the Western Pacific Region (WPRO) manual, security procedures, WHO Staff Rules and Regulations, Information Notes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), referring to the supervisor for direction/instruction and collaborating closely with the other units.

Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support – Support meetings, workshops, and seminars; prepare documents and briefing files.
- Document Management – Type, format, and proofread correspondence, reports, and tables in line with organizational standards.
- Front Desk & Communication – Answer calls, welcome visitors, manage logs, and provide assistance to staff and visitors.
- Operations Assistance – Support shipments, provide backup as registry clerk or driver, and perform other duties as required to ensure smooth office operations.
Requirements
- Essential: Completion of secondary school, or equivalent training.
- Desirable: Training or certification in office management, administration, and a valid full driver’s license.
- Essential: At least 2 years of clerical experience in an administrative/office environment.
- Desirable: Experience as a driver with a safe driving record. Experience working with government agencies or non-governmental organisations, WHO or another UN agency.
- Ideally some administrative or commercial training, supplemented by training or self-training in the use of standard office software such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, etc.
- The work requires the use of a series of standard software such as word processing to type, format and print documents, reports, tabular materials, presentations, etc., as well as the maintenance of files.
