Commercial Manager
Universal Electronics Fiji is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated person as Commercial Manager. The role reports to the Managing Director and will be responsible for achieving profitability and sales targets, overseeing staffing, and identifying opportunities to grow the Suva business.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

Preparation of annual plans, budgets and forecasts
Management of monthly financial and Board reporting
Manage and oversee Inventory, Purchasing Function, AR, AP, and General Ledger
Communicating sales budgets to your team and refocusing as required
Leading by example through all store procedures ensures the store is managed effectively.
Providing training to and supporting the development of your team members.
Identifying and managing areas of under-performance in store by improving team skills.
Staff Managing, Rostering and payroll approval responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

The suitable candidate must have the following skills and experience:

Relevant Business degree along with CA / CPA qualification preference
Previous Store management experience in retail will be helpful.
Strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities for business improvement (efficiencies, costs etc.)
Ability to drive teams to hit revenue numbers.
Experience with Xero and Point of Sale Systems.
A natural interest and ability to build strong and trusting relationships with people
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Remuneration: The remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate commensurate with qualifications and experience.
