Key Responsibilities
- Administer and process payroll accurately and on time.
- Ensure correct calculation and payment of salaries, allowances, overtime, bonuses, statutory deductions, and other employee entitlements.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including medical insurance, leave administration, and other company benefits.
- Prepare payroll-related journals and reconciliations to ensure alignment between payroll and accounting systems.
- Work closely with the Finance team to ensure payroll costs and provisions are accurately recorded in the general ledger.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and accounting variances.
- Support annual salary reviews, compensation benchmarking, and remuneration exercises.
- Prepare payroll, compensation, and workforce reports for management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR data while ensuring confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, tax regulations, FNPF requirements, and company policies.
- Respond to employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and compensation matters.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Assist with HR projects, process improvements, and digitalization initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in payroll, compensation and benefits, or HR administration.
- Knowledge of payroll processing, PAYE, FNPF, and employment legislation.
- Experience preparing payroll journals and reconciliations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
