The Container Upgrader position based in Lautoka is responsible for the upgrading of containers gated into the depot to the Institute of International Containers Lessors (IICL) and food quality standards.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Upgrade container to IICL and food quality standards
• Steel cutting, welding, light fabrication, and painting of containers
• Repainng at door seals and flooring of containers
• Stock takes on the materials and equipment in the repair bay each month and report to Supervisor
• Ensure that the repair bay is secure, clean and that power is turned off after work
• Ensure that all repair bay equipment is cleaned and placed correctly to its storage area

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

1. Certificate in welding and fabrication
2. 2 or more years’ experience in a similar role
3. Strong attention to detail
4. Commitment to health and safety
5. The ability to follow procedures
6. A strong work ethic, commitment to attendance, flexible and being a team player
