Driver

Job Summary

The driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of passengers or cargo to designated locations. Duties include operating a company vehicle, following traffic laws and safety protocols, and providing excellent customer service.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

– Operate a company vehicle, such as a sedan, van, or truck, in a safe and responsible manner
– Transport passengers or cargo to predetermined destinations on schedule
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper working condition
– Maintain accurate records of routes, mileage, and delivery information
– Provide friendly and courteous customer service to passengers or clients
– Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations
– Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed
– Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle issues to the appropriate personnel
– Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained

 Qualifications

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– 1-2 years of experience driving a commercial or passenger vehicle
– Knowledge of local roads and navigation
– Strong customer service and communication skills
– Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
– Flexible schedule to accommodate various shifts and on-call duties
