Pleass Global Limited, a publicly listed, fast-growing bottled water manufacturer in Fiji, is seeking an experienced, results-driven Engineering Manager to lead our engineering and technical teams. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee and manage all maintenance program activity and engineering project delivery at the site (Namosi Head Office).

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead engineering staff to achieve high levels of plant and equipment reliability, supporting manufacturing in achieving safety, quality, and output targets.
- Ensure all engineering activities and key deliverables comply with all food safety, safety, and product quality standards.
- Develop daily and weekly corrective and preventative maintenance plans, to reduce breakdowns and increase uptime.
- Lead, mentor and develop a diverse team of technicians and engineers to effectively perform all maintenance program tasks in an efficient manner.
- Manage and liaise with suppliers to source and maintain critical spares, and agreed parts stock holding levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical trade background, with demonstrated expertise in engineering management.
- The ideal candidate will have 10 years of senior leadership experience in engineering roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across operations.
- Strong familiarity with mechanical and electrical control systems, coupled with root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Previous experience in the bottled water manufacturing industry will be highly regarded.
