What is the job?

We’re looking for an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our motivated Kitchen team.

What do we need from you

Working as part of a fantastic team, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of a consistent food production which meets customers’ expectations and service standards whilst exercising your knowledge of hygiene and food safety. You’ll bring with you a genuine and friendly personality which will complement our dynamic and professional Culinary Team.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you’ll provide unique European and seafood fine dining, create menus and test cooking. You’ll assist in managing and motivating your team, ensuring that all staff within your department are adequately trained and developed in line with company policy. You’ll be responsible for the recruitment and selection of your team and manage any employee relation issues. Importantly, you’ll actively guide and direct the whole team to ensure consistency of brand standards, high level of performance and service delivery.

Ideally, you’ll have qualification & experience in culinary arts preferably a similar role in delivering high level of food quality in a 5-star resort environment and working with food safety systems such as HACCP.
