Finance Accountant
ATS Pacific Ltd is a leading inbound tour operator with offices in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. ATS Pacific Ltd provides specialty inbound services in all three destinations for FIT and Groups. Markets include UK, Europe, USA, and Western long haul. ATS Pacific Fiji is located at Level 2/3 Star One Building, Martintar, Nadi.
We are seeking a self-motivated person that proactively engage with the day-to-day accounting preparation to join the company in the position of Finance Accountant. This is an entry level position.
The Finance Accountant will be responsible for the following key areas of responsibility.
- Delivery of retail finance and administration functions
- Delivery of wholesale finance and administration functions
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Monthly reconciliations
- Always provide exceptional customer service to the Finance Team, Internal department and external clients and suppliers
- Administration and adhoc projects
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree qualifications in Business, Commerce, Economics or related
- Discipline (or commensurate experience)/ Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Possible Finance experience for 1 year
- In depth understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to understand relationships between systems and associated reconciliations
- Exceptional systems skills
- Proven capacity to review trends to develop and implement strategies and processes
- Ability to work under tight timeframes and to a timetable
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver of strategic business vision
- Proven interpersonal skills – relationship management and influencing capability
- Proven demonstration of commercial acumen in business decisions
- Ability to meet Corporate and Divisional/Departmental Service Standards
- Ability to comply with Corporate Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities Standard
- Full in-house training will be provided to the selected applicant
