JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Based in Naikabula and reporting to the Manager FP&A, the successful candidate is responsible for the accurate reporting of financial data that is used for business decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs detailed financial and cost analysis & the preparation of related reports (monthly & annual financial statements)
Develops and interprets detailed cost accounting information and makes recommendations regarding the efficient utilisation of resources and the proper accounting for transactions.
Assists with the provision of advisory services to departments with respect to the interpretation of accounting data, recommending solutions to accounting problems
Drives results through building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
Performs assignments of a varied and diverse nature as directed by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree with major in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3-5 years’ experience in a similar role OR equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills or abilities have been achieved.
Manufacturing experience is preferred.
The ability to process and translate large quantities of data in a timely and accurate manner
Good communication and relationship management skills
Analytical and problem-solving capacity with strong attention to detail
Team focused and performance orientated
Proficiency level of computing with experience in Oracle or related ERP system and Microsoft packages particularly excel, word and PowerPoint
Successful applicants must have good work ethics, self-motivation, proven problem-solving capacity and competency in using Lean problem-solving tools.
