Key Responsibilities
- Gather and verify financial data for month-end reporting in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Provide accounting and financial support to the Finance team while maintaining accuracy and financial integrity.
- Prepare monthly General Ledger reconciliations and conduct gross margin analysis.
- Perform inventory valuation for month-end reporting purposes.
- Reconcile VAT/tax accounts and liaise with relevant authorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Membership with a recognized professional accounting body such as FICA, CPA or CA.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar position.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and charting functions.
- Experience working with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is desirable.
- Practical experience in ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities, including FRCS, RBF, and ROC.
