Key Responsibilities
- Perform bank, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
- Prepare and analyse financial data to support business decision-making.
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Undertake other finance and accounting duties as assigned by Managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Commerce / Information Systems
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial & statutory reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Part qualification or progress towards CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage.
