FLEETS COORDINATOR – Carpenters Motors

Carpenters Motors, a division of Carpenters Fiji Pte Limited and a recognized leader in the Motoring Industry in Fiji, is seeking applications from interested candidates for the role of Fleets Coordinator to be based at our Carpenters Motors- Walubay, Suva. Key Responsibilities:

Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all automotive vehicles.
Coordinate the acquisition, disposal, and replacement of vehicles as needed.
Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs for all vehicles.
Plan and schedule vehicle usage to optimize efficiency and meet business needs.
Coordinate drivers assignments and route planning to ensure timely deliveries or services.
Ensure that all vehicles meet safety and regulatory requirements.
Monitor driver compliance with safety protocols and provide necessary training.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, registrations and insurance.
Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to reduce fuel costs.
Track and manage vehicle related expenses, including repairs and maintenance.
Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, including maintenance costs, vehicle utilization and driver performance.
Identify trends and areas for improvement to enhance overall fleet efficiency.
Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, operations and finance, to support fleet related needs.
Maintain effective communication with drivers and provide them with necessary support.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in fleet management or automotive coordination.
Knowledge of automotive maintenance and safety regulations.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using fleet management software and tools.
Problem solving and decision making abilities.
Vaild driver’s license and clean driving record
