What is the job?

As our F&B Attendant you will ensure our guests enjoy a truly memorable experience – whether they’ve worked up an appetite for a full conference banquet or are just joining us for their favourite hot beverage

 

 

Your day to day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Clean and maintain equipment and premises
Maintain hygienic standards and procedures
Assist with the preparation of functions and service
Assist with cellar operations
Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships.
Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled
Actively informs guests of product options and offering
Room service food & beverage delivery
Always takes a diligent and proactive approach to guest care and service.
Is personally available to assist any area of the hotel as required if available to do so
Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Assist with the preparation of an outlet for service including:

Cleaning of equipment
Sorting of stores equipment
Cleaning and maintaining glassware for service
Cleaning and maintain flatware for service
Cleaning and maintain China for service
Preparing waiter stations
Preparing buffet service
Preparing service equipment and materials

 

What we need from you

Exceptional customer service skills through utilising your ability to communicate clearly and courteously when interacting with guests.
Ability to deliver efficient and prompt Food & Beverage service in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
Ability to multi-task – the job is varied so the ability to manage multiple high priorities and deadlines will ensure your success.
Have an eye for detail, be an enthusiastic and an approachable person who is motivated to take ownership and consistently deliver a unique guest experience.
Be a strong advocate for working collaboratively to support the wider hotel team success.
Be flexible with your availability – for example working early mornings, evenings/ nights, weekends, and public holiday shifts.
Passion: Share our commitment to providing extraordinary service and creating memorable moments for our guests
Valid Driver’s License will be an added advantage
