Our client is a service industry and is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced professional to the position of General Manager (GM).
The GM’s key role is to deliver on the company’s strategic plan to grow market share and attain business efficiencies while driving profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and provide guidance to management in ensuring that company budgets are achieved.
Achieve revenue and profitability targets and ensure strong cash flow management.
Identify new opportunities for business growth through diversification and expansion, including through acquisition.
Streamline and implement best business practices to enhance customer experience and create competitive advantage.
Build strong professional relationships with key customers and external stakeholders for the growth of the business.
Drive staff engagement and develop talent for internal succession and retention.
Uphold core values and business goals to deliver standards of excellence with integrity.
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Finance/Public Administration.
At least 10 years of experience in a senior executive role.
Exceptional management capabilities with relevant experience in business and financial planning, human resources, corporate management, public relations, operations and staff development.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to foster stakeholder engagement is essential, along with sound business acumen to drive strategic results and a culture of excellence and innovation.
