Reporting directly to the CEO, the General Manager – Marina & Commercial Operations plays a critical leadership role in driving both operational excellence and commercial growth. This role is responsible for translating strategy into results, overseeing marina operations, guest services, tenancy and reservations, infrastructure development, compliance, and stakeholder engagement while strengthening brand presence, improving performance, and positioning PDM for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall marina operations, ensuring consistent service delivery and strong customer outcomes.
- Drive revenue growth through effective pricing, yield management, and new business initiatives.
- Oversee capital projects and infrastructure delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
- Lead and develop teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.
- Oversee commercial tenancy and contract lifecycle management, maintaining accurate registers and enforcing marina terms and bylaws.
- Ensure statutory and maritime compliance, including Port of Entry/ISPS obligations, safety and employment requirements.
- Partner with the Financial Controller on budgets, forecasting, reporting and commercial optimisation across all revenue lines.
- Provide hands-on leadership across people, HSE/BCP, ESG/Clean Marina, brand/digital and technology improvement, reporting to the CEO.
Requirements
- Degree in Business/Commerce/Maritime Management/Hospitality (MBA/Masters and/or marina certification IMM/AMM/CMM desirable).
- 8 – 10 years’ senior leadership experience, preferably but not mandatory, in maritime, superyacht marina, hospitality or commercial operations.
- Strong commercial capability: revenue/yield management, contract and tenancy administration, and stakeholder relationship management.
- Experience with governance, internal audit/risk; confident leading brand/digital activity and technology-enabled improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal English and ability to meet compliance requirements.
