GENERAL MANAGER – WOWS Kids Fiji

VACANCY 

Job Opportunity: General Manager
Location: Suva, Fiji
Contract Type: Full-time (initial 3-year term, renewable)
Reports to: Board of Trustees

WOWS Kids Fiji is a registered charitable trust dedicated to supporting children in Fiji living with cancer and their families. Our mission is to raise awareness of childhood cancer, provide holistic support to affected families, and advocate for improved services and outcomes.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the organisation in delivering on its vision and strategic plan (2025–2030).

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide overall leadership and management of WOWS Kids Fiji operations

2. Oversee program delivery, fundraising, communications and advocacy initiatives

3. Manage staff and volunteers, ensuring alignment with organisational values

4. Lead resource mobilisation, donor engagement and partnerships locally and internationally

5. Ensure strong financial management, compliance and reporting to the Board

6. Drive the implementation of the Strategic Plan, monitoring performance and impact.

Qualifications & Experience

• A degree in Management, public health, social sciences or related field (postgraduate qualification an advantage)

• At least 7–10 years’ senior management experience in the NGO, health or social services sector mostly in program delivery

• Proven track record in fundraising, donor relations and partnership building

• Strong leadership, people management and communication skills

• Demonstrated experience in governance, financial oversight and reporting.
